We repair every MacBook Air, from the original 11 and 13-inch wedge models to the M5 Air. The most common jobs are cracked screens, tired batteries, spills and charging faults.
Memory is soldered on every Air, but older models (2010–2017) use a removable SSD that can be upgraded. From 2018 onwards the storage is part of the logic board, which is why we repair boards rather than swap them.
What we fix
- Logic board repair – power, charging and liquid damage faults
- Data recovery – from removable SSDs and encrypted T2 and M-series storage
- Keyboard replacement – including butterfly keyboards and spill damage
- Storage upgrades – larger SSDs for 2010–2017 models

Questions we’re often asked
Why do MacBook Air screens crack so easily?
The lid is very thin, so pressure from something left on the keyboard, like earbuds or a pen, can crack the panel when it’s closed. The fix is a new display assembly.
Can I add memory to my MacBook Air?
No, the memory is soldered on every model. On 2010–2017 Airs we can fit a bigger SSD, which is often the more useful upgrade anyway.
