Mac Pros are built from separate boards: a logic board, processor trays or boards, and on newer models separate I/O and MPX modules. We work out which part has failed and repair it, keeping costs down on machines that are often still earning their keep.
Common faults
- Power Mac G5: power supply failures and corrosion from liquid-cooling leaks
- 2006–2012 towers: processor board faults, backplane faults and red memory LEDs
- 2013 Mac Pro: graphics card failures and overheating
- 2019 and 2023: power supply and boot faults

Price
Logic board repair is £450 + VAT on 2018 and later models, and for complex repairs (liquid, lightning or GPU faults) on any model. Non-complex board repairs on earlier models are from £165 + VAT. The initial assessment and advice are free, as long as we don't need to open your Mac. If a technician needs to open it and spend time diagnosing the fault, or you need a report for an insurance claim, it is booked in as a diagnostic at £45 + VAT (£54). All prices are subject to inspection, and nothing is done without your approval.
