Looking for Mac Pro (2013 cylinder) repair in London? Our technicians diagnose and fix it in-house, with a quote before any work starts.
The 2013 ‘trash can’ Mac Pro (A1481) was sold until 2019. It has a central thermal core, four RAM slots, a proprietary PCIe SSD blade and dual AMD FirePro GPUs. Those GPUs are its main weakness, and Apple once ran a repair programme for video problems on D500 and D700 models. Dust in the thermal core causes overheating too.
Common faults we fix
- Dual GPU failure
- Overheating
- SSD failure
- Won’t boot
- Power faults

Price
We give you a fixed quote after a free initial assessment, before any work starts. The initial assessment and advice are free, as long as we don't need to open your Mac. If a technician needs to open it and spend time diagnosing the fault, or you need a report for an insurance claim, it is booked in as a diagnostic at £45 + VAT (£54). All prices are subject to inspection, and nothing is done without your approval.
Questions we’re often asked
Can you repair it the same day?
Many repairs are done on the same day when parts are in stock. Board-level work and data recovery usually take a few working days, and we’ll give you a realistic time when we quote.
Can you upgrade the memory at the same time?
Usually, yes. This model uses socketed memory, and doing it while the Mac is already open saves you labour.
How much does it cost?
See the price section above. We always quote before starting, and if we can’t fix it, you don’t pay for the repair.
