The M4 MacBook Pro display is a mini-LED XDR assembly, optionally with nano-texture glass. We diagnose carefully, source the correct assembly for your configuration and give a realistic timescale. If you have AppleCare+, we’ll tell you if the Apple service fee is cheaper.
The nano-texture option on the M4 MacBook Pro uses etched glass to reduce glare. It needs a special cleaning cloth and can be marked by ordinary cleaners, and a replacement must match whether yours has it.
About this model: The M4 MacBook Pro (late 2024) added Thunderbolt 5 on Pro and Max models, a 12MP Center Stage camera and an optional nano-texture display. Most are now out of Apple’s standard one-year warranty, so accidental damage and wear are the main reasons they come to us.

How we do it
Before quoting for a new screen, we connect an external display and inspect the display cable, so we know whether the fault is in the screen itself, the cable or the logic board.
On Apple silicon models, some display features such as True Tone may depend on Apple’s parts pairing process. We tell you what will and won’t work before you decide.
After fitting, we check for dead pixels, even backlighting, brightness control and the camera before handing it back.

If it still works on an external display, back it up first. Bring the charger, and tell us whether the damage came from a drop, pressure or a spill, as it helps us check for hidden damage.

My Mac might still be under warranty. Should I come to you?
If the fault is a manufacturing defect and your Mac is within Apple’s warranty or AppleCare+, Apple is usually the cheapest route and we’ll tell you so. Accidental damage, spills and anything outside cover is where we can help, often faster.
What parts do you use?
We tell you before fitting whether a part is an Apple original, a tested part recovered from a donor machine, or a high-quality compatible part, and the price reflects which you choose.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. We don’t wipe your Mac unless you ask. On this model the storage is encrypted and tied to its original board, so we never swap the board without explaining what that would mean for your data.
