How we do it
We start by reading your Mac’s battery cycle count and health, and testing the charger and port. A charging fault can mimic a worn battery, and we’d rather not sell you a part you don’t need.
We never lever glued cells out with metal tools. The adhesive is released properly first, which keeps the case, cables and new battery safe.
Finally we check the new battery reports a healthy condition and a low cycle count, test charging, and recycle the old pack responsibly.

My Mac might still be under warranty. Should I come to you?
If the fault is a manufacturing defect and your Mac is within Apple’s warranty or AppleCare+, Apple is usually the cheapest route and we’ll tell you so. Accidental damage, spills and anything outside cover is where we can help, often faster.
How long will the new battery last?
A new battery should give you close to the run time it had when new, and typically lasts several years with normal use. Keeping it away from long periods at 100% charge and high heat helps it age more slowly.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. We don’t wipe your Mac unless you ask. On this model the storage is encrypted and tied to its original board, so we never swap the board without explaining what that would mean for your data.
Do I pay if you can’t fix it?
No. If the repair isn’t possible, you don’t pay for it, and the free initial assessment costs nothing.
