Need your MacBook Pro M5, M5 Pro & M5 Max fixed in London? We repair every generation of Mac, and this is a model we see week in, week out.
The M5 MacBook Pro arrived in two stages: the 14-inch M5 in October 2025 and the M5 Pro and M5 Max models in March 2026. These are Apple’s current pro laptops and most are still in warranty. We help with accidental damage, spills and data problems, and we’ll tell you when Apple or AppleCare+ is the better route.
The M5 Pro and M5 Max models use a new chip design that Apple says is much faster at AI workloads. None of that changes how the laptop is built, so repairs follow the same approach as the M4 generation.
Common faults we fix

Before you bring it in
If it starts at all, back it up first. Then note the symptoms, any error messages and anything that happened just before, such as a drop, spill or update.
Which model do you have?
This page covers the MacBook Pro 14 & 16-inch M5 family (2025–2026) (MacBook Pro (14-inch, M5, 2025), MacBook Pro (14/16-inch, M5 Pro or M5 Max, 2026)). Look under Apple menu > About This Mac, or check the small print on the bottom case for the A-number. Not sure? Bring it in and we’ll identify it for you.
Price
We give you a fixed quote after a free initial assessment, before any work starts. The initial assessment and advice are free, as long as we don't need to open your Mac. If a technician needs to open it and spend time diagnosing the fault, or you need a report for an insurance claim, it is booked in as a diagnostic at £45 + VAT (£54). All prices are subject to inspection, and nothing is done without your approval.
Questions we’re often asked
My Mac might still be under warranty. Should I come to you?
If the fault is a manufacturing defect and your Mac is within Apple’s warranty or AppleCare+, Apple is usually the cheapest route and we’ll tell you so. Accidental damage, spills and anything outside cover is where we can help, often faster.
Can you repair it the same day?
Many repairs are done on the same day when parts are in stock. Board-level work and data recovery usually take a few working days, and we’ll give you a realistic time when we quote.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. We don’t wipe your Mac unless you ask. On this model the storage is encrypted and tied to its original board, so we never swap the board without explaining what that would mean for your data.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, our repairs come with a warranty on the work and parts. Ask us for the terms that apply to your repair.
