MacBook Pro 14 & 16-inch M5 family (2025–2026) Screen Replacement

Apple MacBook Pro

Need a screen replacement for your MacBook Pro M5, M5 Pro & M5 Max? We carry out this work in-house at our London workshop, with a fixed quote before we start.

Cracked screens aren’t covered by Apple’s standard warranty. With AppleCare+ the Apple fee is often cheaper and we’ll tell you. Otherwise we source the right mini-LED assembly for your model; for the newest Macs, parts can take longer and we give a clear price and timescale first.

The M5 MacBook Pro keeps the mini-LED XDR design and nano-texture option, so we confirm which glass your laptop has before ordering.

About this model: The M5 MacBook Pro arrived in two stages: the 14-inch M5 in October 2025 and the M5 Pro and M5 Max models in March 2026. These are Apple’s current pro laptops and most are still in warranty.

How we do it

Before quoting for a new screen, we connect an external display and inspect the display cable, so we know whether the fault is in the screen itself, the cable or the logic board.

On Apple silicon models, some display features such as True Tone may depend on Apple’s parts pairing process. We tell you what will and won’t work before you decide.

Every new display is tested for dead pixels, backlight bleed, brightness range and camera function before the Mac goes back to you.

Before you bring it in

Don’t press on a cracked screen to ‘test’ it, as this spreads the damage. If you have AppleCare+, check your cover first; we’ll help you compare.

Which model do you have?

This page covers the MacBook Pro 14 & 16-inch M5 family (2025–2026) (MacBook Pro (14-inch, M5, 2025), MacBook Pro (14/16-inch, M5 Pro or M5 Max, 2026)). Look under Apple menu > About This Mac, or check the small print on the bottom case for the A-number. Not sure? Bring it in and we’ll identify it for you.

Questions we’re often asked

My Mac might still be under warranty. Should I come to you?

If the fault is a manufacturing defect and your Mac is within Apple’s warranty or AppleCare+, Apple is usually the cheapest route and we’ll tell you so. Accidental damage, spills and anything outside cover is where we can help, often faster.

What parts do you use?

We tell you before fitting whether a part is an Apple original, a tested part recovered from a donor machine, or a high-quality compatible part, and the price reflects which you choose.

Do you need to erase my Mac?

No. Your files stay where they are. We only need your password if you’d like us to test macOS after the repair, and we’ll ask before we log in.

Do I pay if you can’t fix it?

No. If the repair isn’t possible, you don’t pay for it, and the free initial assessment costs nothing.
