Need your iMac Pro fixed in London? We repair every generation of Mac, and this is a model we see week in, week out.
The iMac Pro (A1862) is a Xeon workstation in a space grey iMac body, with Radeon Pro Vega graphics and the T2 chip. It was sold until 2021 and many are still used in creative studios. Its memory slots are there but need full disassembly to reach, and its SSD modules are paired with the T2. Heat and power faults are what we see most.
Common faults we fix

Before you bring it in
If it starts at all, back it up first. Then note the symptoms, any error messages and anything that happened just before, such as a drop, spill or update.
Which model do you have?
This page covers the iMac Pro 27-inch (2017) (iMacPro1,1; A1862). Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. The model number is also printed under the stand or on the base. Not sure? Bring it in and we’ll identify it for you.
Price
We give you a fixed quote after a free initial assessment, before any work starts. The initial assessment and advice are free, as long as we don't need to open your Mac. If a technician needs to open it and spend time diagnosing the fault, or you need a report for an insurance claim, it is booked in as a diagnostic at £45 + VAT (£54). All prices are subject to inspection, and nothing is done without your approval.
Questions we’re often asked
Can you repair it the same day?
Many repairs are done on the same day when parts are in stock. Board-level work and data recovery usually take a few working days, and we’ll give you a realistic time when we quote.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. We don’t wipe your Mac unless you ask. On this model the storage is encrypted and tied to its original board, so we never swap the board without explaining what that would mean for your data.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, our repairs come with a warranty on the work and parts. Ask us for the terms that apply to your repair.
