Sticky, repeating or dead keys, broken keycaps and spill damage are all fixable. How the job is done depends on the keyboard your MacBook uses, which also decides the price.
We test every key, the backlight and Touch ID (where fitted) before the Mac goes back to you.
Three kinds of keyboard
Screwed-in keyboards (Unibody MacBook Pro and MacBook Air up to 2017): the keyboard can be replaced on its own, which keeps the cost down.
Butterfly keyboards (12-inch MacBook, MacBook Pro 2016–2019, MacBook Air 2018–2019): prone to dust getting under the keys. We try a careful clean first; if the switches have failed, the fix is a new top case with the keyboard built in.
Magic Keyboards (2019 onwards and Apple silicon models): reliable, so most repairs follow spills. The keyboard is riveted into the top case, so we replace the assembly or re-rivet a new keyboard, whichever is better value.

We give you a fixed quote for your exact model before any work starts. All prices are subject to inspection, and nothing is done without your approval.
Questions we’re often asked
Can one key be fixed on its own?
Sometimes. A single sticky key can often be cleaned, and a missing keycap can be replaced if the switch underneath is intact.
Will the battery be replaced too?
Only if it needs it. On models where the keyboard comes with a new top case, the battery is usually included, and we’ll tell you if so.
