The M3 MacBook Pro family (late 2023) includes the entry 14-inch M3 (A2918), the 14-inch M3 Pro/Max (A2992) and the 16-inch M3 Pro/Max (A2991). The space black finish debuted here. They’re powerful and dependable; most repairs are displays, spills, batteries and charging faults.
The entry 14-inch M3 model has only two Thunderbolt ports on the left, while the M3 Pro and Max have three. The M3 Max 16-inch is one of the most powerful laptops Apple has made, and it runs its fans harder than earlier models under load.

Price
We give you a fixed quote after a free initial assessment, before any work starts. The initial assessment and advice are free, as long as we don't need to open your Mac. If a technician needs to open it and spend time diagnosing the fault, or you need a report for an insurance claim, it is booked in as a diagnostic at £45 + VAT (£54). All prices are subject to inspection, and nothing is done without your approval.
Questions we’re often asked
Can you repair it the same day?
Many repairs are done on the same day when parts are in stock. Board-level work and data recovery usually take a few working days, and we’ll give you a realistic time when we quote.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. We don’t wipe your Mac unless you ask. On this model the storage is encrypted and tied to its original board, so we never swap the board without explaining what that would mean for your data.
How much does it cost?
See the price section above. We always quote before starting, and if we can’t fix it, you don’t pay for the repair.
