Mac minis are often used as home servers, media libraries or office machines, so when one fails there’s usually a lot of data on it. We recover data from every Mac mini.
How it works on your Mac mini
2010–2014: standard 2.5-inch drives, including two-drive server models. We remove and image each drive, and rebuild RAID or server volumes where needed.
2018: soldered storage encrypted by the T2 chip. We repair the logic board so the data can be read.
M1, M2 and M4 onwards: the data is tied to the chip, even on the M4 with its removable storage module. A dead power supply is a common cause, and it’s quicker to fix than a board.

Questions we’re often asked
My Mac mini was a file server. Can you recover shared folders?
Yes. Tell us how it was set up, for example which drives, any RAID and which user accounts, so we can rebuild it properly.
