We repair and upgrade every Mac mini, from the 2010 aluminium models to the M4 and 2026 models. Faults we see most are dead power supplies, damage after power surges and failing hard drives.
Older minis are easy to upgrade with SSDs and more memory, the 2018 model takes up to 64GB of RAM, and the M4 model has a removable storage module that can be upgraded with the right tools.
What we fix
- Logic board repair – no power and surge damage
- Data recovery – from standard drives and encrypted T2 and Apple silicon storage
- Mac won’t turn on – power supply and board faults
We also fit SSDs and memory and replace power supplies; see the price list.

Questions we’re often asked
My Mac mini is completely dead. Is it the power supply?
Often, yes. The power supply is inside the mini and is a common failure, especially after a power cut or surge. We test it before looking at the logic board.
Can an old Mac mini still be useful?
Yes, as a home server, media player or office machine. An SSD makes a big difference on the 2010–2014 models.
